The Haven - your anchor in the complexity of family law

The Haven is a Sydney-based initiative providing integrated, trauma-informed support to women and children navigating the Australian family law system.

What Sets Us Apart

Jane has been working in this space for years and has both professional and lived experience in navigating this system.

The family law system is not only legally complex, it is frequently a site of prolonged psychological trauma. Women experiencing custody disputes, post-separation abuse, and domestic and family violence often face heightened PTSD, anxiety, financial instability, and social isolation. Children are also deeply impacted.

The Haven fills a critical service gap by delivering wrap around legal navigation, therapeutic mental health care, peer support, and long-term recovery services under one coordinated model.

We do not replace legal services. We strengthen outcomes by ensuring women are psychologically supported, legally informed, and socially stabilised before, during, and long after court proceedings.

The family law system determines futures yet too often leaves women and children emotionally fractured.

The Haven ensures that women do not face this system alone and that healing does not end when court orders are made.

We are building not just a service, but a recovery pathway.
